We are delighted to announce the results of the ISS Quarter Two Charitable Donation Employee Survey! So Others Might Eat (SOME) was our top-voted charity. SOME is a charitable organization, founded in 1970, that focuses on addressing homelessness and poverty in the DC area. SOME services are available to individuals, families, senior citizens, veterans, and those affected by physical or mental illness—services include meals, housing, job training, and healthcare. The organization’s mission is to improve the lives of those in need by offering essential resources, support, and opportunities to help them regain stability and self-sufficiency. Through various programs and their Whole Person Care approach, SOME aims to tackle the root causes of homelessness and empower individuals to lead healthier and more productive lives. 89.5% of every dollar donated goes directly to meeting the needs of SOME clients.
