ISS Selects High Performance Heros for Q4 Charitable Donation

As an SDVOSB, ISS holds veterans close to our hearts. At the end of October, we participated in a charity event—held by High Performance Heroes—that supports veterans in a unique and exciting way. High Performance Heroes supports combat injured veterans through racing; ISS sponsored a kart with 6 drivers. ISS would like to thank those who participated in this race; we are honored to have taken part in this fantastic event! We had such a great time that we intend to come back next year with another team, so look out for a sign up in your email next fall!
High Performance Heroes is dedicated to supporting combat-wounded veterans on their recovery journey. The program, based on the belief that every veteran’s recovery is unique, provides personalized assistance at various stages of rehabilitation. Understanding the diverse challenges veterans face, the program evolves to meet their changing needs as they progress in their recovery. Notably, the organization modifies charity race cars to fit veterans’ specific requirements, trains vets and helps place them in semi professional races, enhancing both their racing experience and overall well-being. In several cases their veterans have gone onto become professional drivers and make racing their second careers. High Performance Heroes fosters inclusivity, encouraging veterans with diverse motorsports goals to define their own path to recovery within a supportive community. Beyond the track, the program emphasizes that veterans are not alone in their journey, offering unwavering support to those newly injured or on the path to recovery. Veterans are invited to reach out to learn more about tailoring the program to fit their unique abilities and aspirations.
