We are excited to announce the results of the ISS Quarter One Charitable Donation Employee Survey, our team has chosen the Sea Turtle Conservancy as our top-voted charity. The Conservancy is a long-standing sea turtle migration-tracking education program that hosts numerous projects and initiatives in support of tracking, conservation, and education. They conduct nest monitoring studies and animal development and migratory studies, with their research published in scientific publications. They provide advocacy, testimony, and policy recommendations backed by data to congress, federal agencies, and state officials. The Conservancy supports the dissemination of data from several concurrent tracking projects across the Gulf of Mexico, and the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans. By providing this unique insight into sea turtle migratory habits, they help users learn more about sea turtle biology, the threats they face, and ways to protect them. Their excellent resources for teachers and the public alike make them a valuable asset in educating and informing the next generation of ocean conservationists.
