Rick Kerestesy

SVP OPERATIONS

Rick Kerestesy is a seasoned delivery executive in the federal government and commercial information technology (IT) and management consulting marketplaces. He has more than two decades of commercial experience and a decade of federal experience supporting NOAA’s Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO), NOAA Line Offices, and the Department of Justice. Kerestesy owned and operated numerous technology companies through the 90s and 2000s, including Dataworx Technologies, a company that developed the first online environmental, health and safety software used by the Fortune 100, state risk managers and universities, and public power companies such the Tennessee Valley Authority.

Subsequently, Kerestesy supported the NOAA Chief Information Officer (CIO) in the federal government’s response and restoration effort to the BP oil spill and human disaster known as Deepwater Horizon.  On behalf of the NOAA CIO, he led the NOAA data and information team in their efforts to account for and manage the largest volume of data and information ever produced in a federal response to date. Kerestesy managed contractor resources for the NOAALink Program Office and oversaw NOAA’s strategic management services before moving to the Department of Justice to support the Department’s CIO and Chief Technology Officer.
