Mark Andrews is Vice President of Operations and Quality Assurance with Integrated Systems Solutions. Mark has over 43 years of experience providing and leading meteorological support to a wide variety of meteorological missions. During a 21-year Air Force, 11-year NOAA, and 11-year private sector career, Mark served in a number of roles including meteorological consultation services for the design and testing of military aircraft and missile systems, working with Congressional staff on the development of concept of operations for meteorological satellites, leading a weather unit dedicated to worldwide operations of F-117 aircraft, and serving in the role of the Director of the Pacific’s Joint Typhoon Weather Center. After leaving the military, Mark was selected to act as the Chief of Aviation Weather Services for the National Weather Service and led the Government inter-agency/Industry weather integrated product team for FAA’s NextGen concepts.
Mark is a certified PMP providing program management/technical meteorology-related subject matter support. He is a recipient of the U.S. Vice-Presidential “Hammer” Award and was selected as the US Air Force Staff Meteorologist of the Year. Mark is a graduate from the University of Michigan with a degree in Atmospheric and Oceanic Science as well as a master’s degree in meteorology from Florida State University.
